Our story
Microgreen growing has special needs from a growing system. We’ve been searching for the best solutions since we started growing microgreens in 2019. And while there are plenty of options for lightning, racks or seeds available on the net, we couldn’t find quality trays we could use consistently.
So we spent a year with developing and manufacturing the best quality microgreen trays that fit the needs of a European Microgreen grower. We call it Next-generation Heavy Duty Shallow Microgreen Growing Tray. We might need a shorter name in the future…

About our trays
Dimensions fit for the racks.
We’ve found that there’s a big price and avaliablity gap between 50 cm and 60 cm deep racks. So we designed our trays to perfectly fit a 50 cm deep shelf. 3 or 4 trays can fit a 100 cm or 120 cm wide shelf respectively.
Special corner design
Have you ever tried to blackout your microgreens, trying many times to carefully place one tray on top of another, then found them collapsed the next day? No more!
Our trays have a special corner design for quick and stable blackout setups!
Easier handling and bottom watering
Getting 2 trays separated is usually a tricky and sometimes painful experience. That’s why we created and opening in both ends of our trays. This creates an improved bottom watering experience while keeping the durability of the trays.
Designed and made in the EU
Our product is 100% designed and made in the EU, in Hungary. We own the molds and manufacture the products locally. Cutting out overseas production is not only environmentally friendly, but also means shorter out-of-stock periods.
Heavy duty
Cheap trays can be expensive in the long run if you have to change them 1-2 times a year. We drop tested our trays fully loaded from 1 m without any cracks and designed for a use of 3-5 years. Long lasting plastic is also an ecological choice!
Food safe
We made sure that the Microgreen Trays are made of 100% polypropylene, a food safe, stable, BPA free material used in long lasting hardwares. We only add UV stabilisers to handle the constant lightning and make it even more durable.
